The Rolling Stones - Fingerprint File
From It's Only Rock and Roll (1974). Says Martin Elliott: "Fingerprint File describes the paranoia of American society with Mick Jagger playing the role of a guy followed by the FBI. His vocals are the key to the theme of the song as he hustles the song's rhythm forward in a rap manner." (Complete Recording Sessions)

Steely Dan - Your Gold Teeth

A remake of the Melegorm 2007 version, and a very long song - a minute shorter than Aja. Cathy Berberian wanders throughout the montage, looking for roulades to sing (or eat?)

2012's extended version of "Peg" from AJA, including imagery from the 2006 and 2010 montages as well as new material. It's your favorite foreign movie!
Steely Dan - The Caves of Altamira

A 2006 photomontage inspired by Caves of Altamira. Very crude by today's standards but Melegorm means well.

Appearing on the B-side of 1981's Tattoo You, "Tops" was recorded years before in Kingston, Jamaica. Quoting Rolling Stones Complete Recording Sessions: "Both Bill Wyman and Keith Richards have indicated that little alteration was made to the original recording.
Steely Dan - Bodhisattva

Steely Dan's Bodhisattva from Countdown to Ecstasy. Fagen would later explain that the song is “sort of a parody on the way Western people look at Eastern religion - sort of oversimplify it. We thought it was rather amusing - most people didn’t get it.” (Far Out, Feb. 2023)

Well done.
💀THE BIKERIDERS💀
This is the version I remember and love.
A ray of starlight from 1987 - The Glass Spider tour was awesome!

Memory Motel, it's a musical masterpiece 🎉🎉. I'm loving the video to this as well. The Stones are simply amazing in everything that they do.The Stones will always remain 2nd to none. I love the Stones and I'm a Stones fan for life most definitely. ❤❤
One of the best RS songs
theres nothing better than listening to SD on good headphones
Absolutely! High-end audio stores would use AJA to show off their systems, with Kenwood headphones.
I'm so obsessed with this song! 🤩
This song is a classic.
Hypnotic! :)
Always love this rhythm guitar sound
Master Keith, laying down that rhythm...
And that genius lyricist / singer
Well Done ! > 1
Thanks! It's a bit of a dare - I let my imagination run wild, but Mick and Keith didn't give us many lyrics to work with, lol
Thank you for sharing; where can I get the "lyrics" of this song (Loneley At The Top), greetings!
The only lyrics I know are the ones on Mick's version from the She's the Boss album. Would be nice to have a catalogue of Stones 'placeholder' lyrics, such as the ones Keith comes up with. So glad this montage is still up and running! Love the way this song 'bounces'
This hidden gem 💎 ✨️ needs to be taken out of the stones vault and start being played, cause this is some amazing music 🎶 🎵. This is the reason why they are the best rock band in the world 🌎
Stones Forever and Ever! There are 4 songs on the B-side (shows my age...) of Undercover that are sure fire winner. "Wanna Hold You" would be a radio hit if broadcast today.
I thought Bill sounded different until I checked the song credits. Seems Ronnie played the dobro on this. I remember getting this tape when I was 9. Where did all the years go?
Sometimes Bill was off playing the Yamaha keyboards, like in Undercover. IIRC he created the soundtrack for the movie Green Ice with Omar Sharif!

Their absolute best.
It was the Fan Favorite at the East Rutherford show (05.26.24)! Great performance - awesome horn section, made me miss the late Bobby Keyes.
The stones put it out their true the way it is with law enforcement and the horrible reality of street life !!!!!!
The Stones, keeping it real. Goats Head Soup was a fine album, but the critics dumped on it. Never trust the critics.
They should have released this as a single. I always thought it was fantastic from 1983 The Lyrics are still spot on
Undercover is a perfect album - it's just as fresh now as it was in 1983.

Badass 12 bar blues grovin.
Opening Song in Trailer of “The Bikeriders” New Film 2024 Got my Attention Immediately ! The Rolling Stones know how to Set-it-Off…..Awesome!
It's remarkable - never paid much mind to it when i first bought Goats Head...just thought it had a weird, long title. When Rewind appeared (1987?) I couldn't stop listening to Heartbreaker. A snapshot of the early '70s that'll live forever.
Man,this is really a great,fun song 🎵. FANTASTIC LYRICS.I love this kind of music.!!Guitars are SCREAMING.😛☠💯
And yet people put down Goats Head Soup! :) It was an awesome album :)
@@Morcaiden It really is ,probably in my top 3 to 5 Stones album,Behind Gimme, and Beggars Banquet,Whew,so many Great ones to chose from.🔥🎶
Another great song 🎵. A lot if it descrubes what was actually going on in the world, at time.Love,The Rolking Stones. ❤🎼😁😎💯
Yes it does - Stones were always great at chronicling the world around them. "Shattered" from 1978 describes NYC in 2024 to perfection.
Wow,forgot about that gem.Whar a great song 🎵. Micks voice is strong, this song ROCKS the, whole album does actualky,The Rollimg Stones,FOREVER,!!☝🎼🔥💥💯
Probably one of their most creative albums, experimental even. Such fun to listen to!
Morcaiden is a legendary Steely Dan super fan!!Hey brother been subbed to you for a long ass time you are the man
Hey Steelymatt! Always a pleasure to see you :) Steely Dan forever!!
Never heard it.....wow.... love it!
One of the Stones's many demos! Great rhythm :)
Keith your voice is incredible and amazing 🎉🎉 Charlie Watts is is phenomenal 🎉🎉. Bill and Ronnie are playing fantastic 🎉🎉
Bill Wyman did not play on this one. That's Keef on bass.
Si te fijas, los primeros acordes de Take It So Hard son los acordes finales de All Down The Line en 1972. Keith no olvida :)
This song is a masterpiece by a classic band that I enjoy.
Haunting opening guitar riff! I can hear it now and it takes me right back to K-Tel's Music Express in '75, when I first heard it.
2:54 Eb5 (The highest note ever Donald Fagen took) ☝️
that is absolte perfecyion
Beautiful song. I first heard on the "Steely Dan Gold" cassette way back when :)
Real good song off Keith❤❤❤😊😊
This should've have been another single off Undercover!
Graphics unusual and interesting. They work for this song.
It's hit and miss sometimes. Thanks! :)
Top ten de los Stones. Tremendo rocanrol ruidoso, descuidado y perfecto.
¡Totalmente! Los Stones, jóvenes y sañudos :)
Roots rock reggae 🇧🇴💀
Always hoped for a solid reggae album from Keith. Can't have it all (he did produce Max Romeo and Wingless Angels, though!)
Beautiful 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
GOOD SONG
The entire I.G.Y. album is amazing!
Dale is not only stunning in her looks her vocals are not to be taken litely
Love her Der Kommissar cover! The Missing in Action album was also good.
The song that got me into rock n roll...
The best punk rock song of all time!
Bloody fabulous. They always show us how it's done. Thanks, Donald and Walter!
